Last Day…

Today is our last day in good ol’ Gatlinburg, Tennessee! I love this place, but I’m ready to come home to see my husband and sleep in my our bed. These beds down here are terrible! Anyways…. here is today’s agenda:

• Eat & get ready
• Run to the store to get a sweater to wear with my dress tonight
• Have a light lunch
• Pack my suitcase
• Go to the Dixie Stampede
• Pack the truck up 
• Enjoy the last evening down at the pool

Hopefully everything goes as planned today with it being our last day of vacation. =)

Here’s what we’re up to today:

• Eating breakfast & Getting ready
• Going to The Apple Barn again
• Souvenir shopping
• Lunch
• Maybe going swimming (I’ve said this every day but still haven’t gone)
• Down town Gatlinburg, shopping in The Village
• Dinner

So we’re going to have a some what busy day today. I can’t wait to get started!

• Have breakfast, then get ready
• Get Stephanie’s zebra Tervis Tumbler
• Go to the outlet mall (hopefully to find a new NorthFace sweatshirt for football season)
• Go to Apple Barn
• Come back and soak my feet in the hot tub

So I got to have lunch today with one of my best friends. Her and her hubby are on their way out to California, and they were able to stop here in Tennessee. We met up in Pigeon Forge, at Mellow Mushroom. The food and company was great!! We hadn’t seen each other since I left North Carolina. That was in May of 2010. I missed her so much. I wish we could have spent more time together, but they had their pups and are on a schedule. Some time is better than none!!

We’re making our reservations for the dinner show, The Dixie Stampede! I’m so excited. I love it there. 

Vacation

Well I’m sitting here in Gatlinburg, enjoying my time off and my surroundings. I love being here. It’s like my second home. 

Here’s our game plan for today:

• Shopping on Glade’s Road (arts & craft section of town)
• Out to eat for lunch/dinner
• Reading
• Shopping down town Gatlinburg
• Take a relaxing bath

Can’t wait until the season premier of The Vampire Diaries. It’s going to be an awesome season!!
